Genesis Insurance
The Account Executive is responsible for engagement and retention of a portfolio of Property & Casualty accounts, including developing relationships with clients through day-to-day account management of the portfolio.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Property & Casualty accounts (corporate and individual) including all renewals, new policies and other insurance and risk management services.
- Collect information from clients to assess their insurance needs and provide coverage options.
- Prepare Renewal Packets, Renewal Proposals, Reinsurance Documents, Broker Slips, Cover Notes, Policies, Fronted Policies, Summaries, Reports and other related Documents.
- Follow up on Policy Documents and Endorsements from Insurers, review and dispatch to Clients.
- Procure New Business.
- Provide support to the entire team including Managers and Executive Team.
- Administer various staff plans, group homeowners plans, group motor plans and motor fleets.
- Assist in the preparation of Tenders.
- Assist clients in claim process.
- Attend Insurance/Risk Surveys, Client Meetings and visit Insurers from time to time.
- Prepare and/or update Renewal Listings
- Maintain proper physical and virtual files.
- Maintain knowledge of the existing and prospected business
- Maintain relationships with all stakeholders, inter-alia, clients, insurers, correspondent partner (Aon), reinsurers etc.
- Work with management in preparation of budgets, when required.
- Work with the Finance team on Accounts Receivables and Payables.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration
- Chartered Insurance Institute: ACII or Dip CII; or equivalent Insurance and Risk Management qualification Association of Risk Management (ARM) will be an asset
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the Insurance industry
- Broker License from the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago
