This position is a dual content assistant and marketing assistant role within well known media house HGPTV Channel 16. In this role, you will report directly to the head of Content and Marketing working on a variety of projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- An interest in media, music, arts and entertainment is essential.
- Highly organised and creative person
- Experience in Marketing and sales is essential
- Professional IT and computer skills
- Database management
- Great knowledge of all social media platforms
- Extensive research skills
- Flexible and available for shoots out of hours
- Great communication skills
- Diary and booking management
- Ability to attend events locally and assist on set of shoots in studio and on location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The content coordinator will report to the content manager, helping to develop current and new shows and content for the network by contacting companies, artists, celebrities, event managers and new talent etc to book interviews and schedule shoots. The content coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining the content managers diary, programme schedule and planning docs.
Creating engaging content for social media and developing content calendars will also be part of your role.
Within Marketing, you will work directlywith the Marketing manager and be responsible for researching and contacting new businesses to advertise their products and services on our TV channel, YouTube and social media platforms. Meeting set marketing targets and goals is essential.
Liasing with all our content providers, managing new shows.
Creating and designing production sets for shows in-house.
Liasing with production team on projects and planning
